My name is Jane Gerard.

I have worked with horses, dolphins, sea lions, birds of prey, parrots and many dogs and cats.

My experience extends to small livestock, managing sheep and cattle programs.

I have worked in France, Italy, Switzerland, UK, Bahamas and Mexico, and the USA.

With over 30 years experience,

 my training programs are devised to meet individual requirements that are based on what you the owner, want.

 

 

 

All training is established with a hands off and positive reinforcement approach, that means no choke or prong collars. As illustrated in the photo, I use the halti or front attachment harness. My training methods are reward based, a hands off approach that encourages the dog or horse.

This is confidence building for both you and your beloved pet. 

 

Consider how your animals will want to work with you, because you make  it fun!

 

My work with horses focuses on rehabilitating rescue or feral horses. Working with mustangs has provided me with unique experience, combined with my training with the British Horse Society ( BHSAI).

This is specialized training for the discerning owner and rescuer.

 

Horse Training: ground work is accomplished by allowing the horse to feel comfortable and safe. If the horse feels safe then you do not get hurt!

Like dog training there are many methods available. We will discuss and create the best training plan for your needs.

Dog Training: level 1.

One on one intensives: you will learn about dog behavior. Good manners with children and visitors.
